Who TF is Scott Galloway??? [View all]

Asking with an open mind.

I walked by the TV which was on and he was being interviewed by Nicolle Wallace (I finally spelled her name right). I heard him talk about all of this crisis among white men and how the DNC website lists demographics in its fold which EXCLUDES 24% of the population, presumably all the white men in crisis. It sounded completely unscientific to me. Not having checked the DNC website, I have to work on the assumption that some of the 76% the DNC considers its base are white men. Some white men are disabled. Some white men are low wage earners. Some white men are single parents. Some white men want affordable education. And so on.

This Galloway person went on to imply that Vice President Harris didn't speak to "white men." I saw more white men identifying as such coming out in support for Harris in '24 then I've seen for any other Democratic candidate in the past. In fact Harris' message was for people who wanted education, middle class tax relief, job opportunities, and trade relationships with other countries. I'm guessing Galloway only seemed to hear Harris address "black issues" which is disqualifying flaw with his ears. Yet hear he was on Nicolle spewing his radically skewed interpretation of the Democratic message.

He brought attention to the young white men that feel alienated, but young white men aren't the only group among youth who feel alienated. And last I checked, white men are still doing pretty well in comparison to other groups. All my superiors at all my jobs are white and mostly men, and mostly really good people.

I certainly don't doubt that there may be more white men who face a less sure future than before. But that's not the fault of Democrats. It's the fault of those who feel like they're in crisis who continue to vote for people who defund education and training, remove regulation, prioritize the wealthy and do everything people like Pope Leo are against (had to get that in there).

To all the people who blame Democrats for white cultural voting patterns, FUCK YOU!
