Shit - I DREAM and LONG FOR the day when there’ll be a woman President.

We’ve had brilliant, and highly capable women in other big jobs. They’ve been generals and many other kinds of warriors of all ranks and specialties, for Pete’s sake.

They lead major corporations. There are 46 women CEOs in the Fortune 1000 (501-1000) as of July 2024. Women are 9.2% of Fortune 1000 CEOs.

Katherine Graham headed the Washington Post for years.
Mattel has had Jill Barad as its chief.

This is a list of women CEOs of the Fortune 500, based on the magazine's 2024 list (updated yearly).[1][2] As of Sept. 2024, women were CEOs at 10.4% of Fortune 500 companies. Those aren’t little companies, either. (Citigroup, Oracle, UPS, Best Buy, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, PG&E, and many more.)

Granted, 10.4% is a small percentage but it IS up from the 7% of women CEOs in 2021.
