Weve had brilliant, and highly capable women in other big jobs. Theyve been generals and many other kinds of warriors of all ranks and specialties, for Petes sake.

This is a list of women CEOs of the Fortune 500, based on the magazine's 2024 list (updated yearly).[1][2] As of Sept. 2024, women were CEOs at 10.4% of Fortune 500 companies. Those arent little companies, either. (Citigroup, Oracle, UPS, Best Buy, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, PG&E, and many more.)

Granted, 10.4% is a small percentage but it IS up from the 7% of women CEOs in 2021.
