8. Checks and balances will be dead along with judicial review

My sense is the lower courts and state courts will continue to function to support society at large. SCOTUS will be irrelevant in regards to the Executive, but will continue to issue rulings. Local communities will face a vague common sense regard for the law. Some will obey, some will ignore, a few will defy. Maybe the biggest aid to compliance will be the cost of litigation. Everyone wants to avoid going to court. We may yet muddle through, but it will take great legal minds to repair checks and balances and the regard for SCOTUS.
