5. I saw him in a production of "Twelve Angry Men" at the Paramount in Seattle about twenty years ago.

I got to meet him at the stage door afterwards (along with Richard Thomas, who had played the lead). He looked mostly dead even then. He definitely didn't look healthy.

Sorry to hear this. He delivered my all-time favorite line in "Cheers".

"Afternoon, everybody!"
