Some parade flyovers canceled due to weather [View all]

Some of the flyovers planned for the Army parade have been canceled due to expected inclement weather, according to a U.S. Secret Service official, NBC News reports.

The parade is continuing, but it appears that they're proceeding through the military eras much more quickly than anticipated, NBC's Craig Melvin noted.

Storm Team4 meteorologist Jessica Faith said we could see spotty showers and strong to severe storms this evening. Much of the D.C. area is under a flood watch until 11 p.m. due to excessive rain over recent days and more likely.
