I found an article -i think courthouse news, describing what you said.

Still, one of the first comments explains that no proof of authorization, or justification for the arrest, exists. Which I guess is part of the reason he was released so quickly.

If they could not provide proof of authorization, I cant imagine they will have much to charge him on.
