Like many of you, I have mixed feelings about Dems stirring the Epstein pot [View all]

It's not that I'm trying to protect Dems or don't care about the issue. It's just that I wish we could concentrate on the horrible damage being done every day RIGHT NOW by R's to millions of people. Anything that distracts from that is a problem when the corporate media already is unwilling to cover the demise of our democracy on so many levels.

Still, I know that many Dems I respect think we should "kick them while they're down" so to speak, since the R's seem to really be floundering here. And there certainly is something to be said for that. There is no question that the issue is damaging to trump and I'm definitely for that!

As Adam Cohen said on bluesky: "It's frustrating that Democrats are scuffling to win any battles. But the Republicans control all 3 branches of government Which is why we MUST keep pushing the Trump/Epstein connection. Because administration can't simply make it go away with legislation, litigation, or any Executive Order.

I guess it boils down to the fact that we have to take power where we can find it, and the Epstein files seems to be one of those places. And being for transparency is never wrong.
