7. A Letterman taping?

Consider me envious.

When my wife and I were in New York (the only time we were in NY) about 15 years ago, we got in the standby line for the Conan O'Brien taping. We got tickets! But I can't even remember who a single guest was -- no "big names," for sure. What stood out to me most was how absolutely tiny the studio was. There couldn't have been more than 150 people in the audience at full capacity and it was cramped.

One thing I've always heard/read about the Ed Sullivan Theater is that Dave kept the studio very cool. Do you recall the chill?

And doesn't it boggle your mind how Oprah, a progressive individual, could have given a platform to Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz? They must have hidden their "asshole" vibes much better back then.

Sloppy seconds? Abolishinist Aug 2025 #27
So, merely seconding another's post is now considered engaging in 'sloppy seconds?' Xavier Breath Aug 2025 #31
Of course not, seconding another's post is fine. Abolishinist Aug 2025 #32
So where's the vitriol for Prairie Gates? Xavier Breath Aug 2025 #33
Zero sense? No, it's more an equation, if you will. Abolishinist Aug 2025 #34
I see. So, now I'm not only impervious to logic/reason, but I also have no life? Xavier Breath Aug 2025 #35
Where to begin. First of all, I'm glad you have a life, I never implied otherwise, only that I have one. Abolishinist Aug 2025 #36
