U.S. cities that have a higher crime rate than Washington, D.C. [View all]

Several U.S. cities have crime rates exceeding that of Washington, D.C. These include Memphis, St. Louis, Baltimore, and Birmingham, all of which have higher homicide rates per 100,000 residents. New Orleans also has a higher homicide rate than D.C., despite its smaller size.

Notice that with the exception of Baltimore, all of the cities listed above are in red states.

Anyone who thinks what Donnie Rotten pulled in L.A. and now D.C. isn't politically and racially motivated is a complete idiot!
