(2,234 posts)I also occasionally buy a lottery ticket when the amount is a life changing event. I buy it not expecting to win but for the nights filled with dreams of the help that I would be able to provide to family, friends and those in need. To me, that's worth a few bucks. And, I prolong hearing about the results as long as possible. It's my guilty pleasure.
So, waiting for the bad, horribly, devastating news just makes me giddy with anticipation. It will happen when it happens, I only wish for long bouts of pain and misery for his eventual final breath. Maybe a moment of clarity at the realization of his inept, failed existence and fear of the end.
I too had an abuser and that piece of dung is still in existence after 82 years but I will get no joy in his demise because I don't care.
