Just got back from a briefing re. federal monitoring at our polling places [View all]

I'm a poll worker in a small town in Passaic County, the ONLY county in NJ that's being "monitored" by the DOJ.

The municipal clerk told me that the federal "monitors" may not enter our polling places as ONLY voters will be permitted to be in situ. They will have to be located at least 100 feet from the polling places.

And I have been reassured that ANY interference with voters will be summarily dealt with by our police department, which happens to be in the same building as my polling place.

I won't be allowed to take photos or video in the polling place, but I can outside if there is any disturbance.
