maybe not until at least late October.
People have VERY short memories. We can't afford for them to forget this catastrophe before the 2026 general election.
We have to accept that we will need a massive effort to reverse the worst of the damage he has caused. And yes, it will only get worse over the next several months - although some R's pushing back in Congress give hope that some of the more serious stuff will slow down. (Renaming monuments, while grotesque, is relatively low consequence compared with killing off or hamstringing entire functions of the federal government).
But this is what a very large slice of America voted for. Even if they were too gullible or uninformed to realize it at the time.
