Susie Wiles stated something... [View all]

I was only half-listening to this, so forgive me if I'm not entirely accurate.

It was on MSNOW maybe an hour ago.

It might have been Alex Witt who was interviewing someone. She asked the person she was interviewing about Trump's treatment of women (maybe specifically women reporters?), and the gentleman she was interviewing mentioned something like "Susie Wiles stated that he does it because he's a "counter-puncher".

We have a "counter-puncher" President.

Isn't that nice?

A "man" who feels the need to "punch" women reporters who ask him simple questions.

What a fucking hero this guy is.

And for years, no one has really called him out to his face over this (to any significant degree anyway).

All of this has become normalized. Every rotten thing he does has become normalized, and what I am trying to figure out is...if stuff like this has become the norm, how does this utter garbage get reversed?

It is the "norm" now, after all.

"What has this country become" is not just an idle saying.

What HAS this country become?

I sure as hell don't know.

But I don't like it.
