If i can convey this correctly...

Everything he does is calculated. He WANTS to be viewed as a counterpuncher, and it is not a coincidence that a woman, his chief of staff, conveys him as such.

He knows his base, his audience.

There is a significant portion of society that eats up the fact that he is a counter-puncher. And a large majority of these people are men, but some women also like this.

He reinforces weak people, weak minds. He reinforces the beliefs of the absolute pricks that walk among us.

And my fear is that when he finally goes, the willingness to convey that mindset is not going to go with him. It's going to stay here. Because it is now the norm.

I think this is the most seriously terrible thing he has done to this country. He made weak people proud to be weak. To be violent.

I don't know how that gets reversed except for the passage of decades.
