32. We grew up in a time born of the age of innocence in the 50's.

Remember the tv shows? Laura and Rob Petri didn't even share a bed.

We lived in the comfort of a post war society and reaped the security of the New Deal systems put in place by FDR.

And then our lives were defined by the changes in the late 60's and the horrors of the Vietnam War. There was a ray of hope with the idea of a "Great Society".

And then came Nixon with the normalization of lies, and the cynicism of corruption.

And ever since Ronnie Raygun and the 80's we have watched a deterioration of the New Deal infrastructure and any hope of a Great Society. And yet our lives still went on. But behind the scenes there was an agenda for evil. (Heritage Foundation; Federalist Society and Leonard Leo; Koch Brothers)

And then came the final assault with the Trumpocalypse, aided and abetted by the Tech Bros, Russell Vought and Project 2025...and let's not forget Elon Musk. And let's not forget an assist from a captured RepugliCON Congress.

How do we reclaim anything from this? I ask this question every day. I feel like I want to write an letter of apology to those generations that will follow us.
