that affect others...until it affects them personally - and then it's thoughts and prayers. Also these types of issues have more disinformation surrounding them to the point where it becomes debatable - ex. good guy with a gun, it's not the gun..it's the person and even if we do everything right on climate change it won't matter because we can not control the China...

The real truth is that as a collective we can actually choose the kind of society we live in, at least for now, but those in power know that dividing us keeps them in power and the vast economic interests have the ability to sway public opinion.
