Thousands of peaceful protesters filled Minneapolis' Powderhorn Park and the surrounding streets on Saturday.

And there were supporting protests throughout the nation. Here in the Seattle exurbs (Covington), there were several hundred attendees at a candlelight vigil this afternoon, even with less than 24 hours notice. And that’s not even considering that the big protest in the Seattle area isn’t until tomorrow.
