Please. Republicans know November is going to be an electoral bloodbath for them, beyond other midterm losses in the past cycles. Trump is historically unpopular, and that's before what is sure to be a shitshow summer. Republicans are going to lose the house by a lot and right now I expect them to lose the Senate too.

They know that's coming and they are just looking at who they can blame it on.
