It should have been used by the Dem party to characterize the Rs as unlawful and violent. It is my opinion that the party would not put up with that now. I could be wrong, but I choose to be optimistic. The leading names talked about for the 2028 election (Murphy, Newsom, fill in the blank) would not put up with that anyway.
