48. Innovation is an artist (or inventor, or...) responding to art that exists, and creating something new

AI is a survey of all that has been put into it's archives, which it appropriates and rearranges, with no new ideas added. Of course the idea of AGI is that someday the machines will have the ideas too.

Remember when one of Elon's programs was making comments that sounded like a Nazi? i don't think we'll get away from who creates the technology and their influence. But the machines may reproduce their re-arranged archives at a rate that a mere human (with a conscience) cannot and put the humans out of business.
