I really really like Brad Lander! [View all]

He won the Democratic primary election last night for the NY 10th Congressional District. Dan Goldman lost. And while I have liked Dan Goldman as well, I believe Brad Lander is a strong choice for representation in Congress. Goldman did a great job as lead majority counsel in the first impeachment hearing against the grifter. He has continued to be a smart voice against the grifter, while in Congress. Dan Goldman has a strike against him (IMHO) because he takes AIPAC money.

Brad Lander has exhibited great bravery in the way he has protected immigrants who show up to the Federal building in NYC. He has protected them with his physical body, and he has even gotten arrested twice.

Lander was just on MSNOW being interviewed by Antonia Hylton. It was a great interview. IMHO, he is the real deal. He exhibits passion and compassion. He is soft spoke and rational, and yet he is a fighter. He will be a fighter for the People and for Democracy in Congress.

Lander said we need fighters, not folders. He wants to be a part of seeing the Democratic Party doing a better job for the People. A lot of us have been frustrated by the tendency to fold, on the part of Dems and particularly Democratic leadership. We need fighters. We are in the fight of our lives. We need to fight for Democracy. The time is now, and it looks like Brad Lander is ready for it.
