I loved David Clayton-Thomas and Blood Sweat and Tears, especially in my younger years. I actually had a ticket to see BS&T live around 1971 but the night of the concert, the evil-stepfather refused to drive me. Who knows why. He was always an asshole and that's the kind of thing assholes do. I was crushed.

My first love, my first boyfriend, our song was You've Made me so Very Happy or it could have been More and More. I don’t remember anymore!

I must have played the Child is Father to the Man album 1,000 times. And of course, the second album, which was recorded after David Clayton Thomas joined the group.

Anyway, this really makes me sad. A lot of my favorites from the 60s and 70s are either getting up there or gone.

Thanks for the music, David Clayon-Thomas RIP.
