17. When I lived on the Left Coast...

... I felt a pretty intense one, but even here in Vermont we've felt a few "meh", as malaise would characterize them. Of course, there was Irene in 2011; we couldn't even get out of the village on horseback for several days! We've had recent downpours so heavy I had to pull off the road 'cause I couldn't see, and the streets were flooded in a few places. Derechos, straight-line winds with phenomenal power, have occurred a few times, and just a couple of weeks ago there was an actual tornado in Woodstock.
Other than that, things are pretty calm here, weather-wise. Though I guess it doesn't sound like it!
Well, the Sun's shining today, so I'll be happy with that. Have a good one!
