6. 1st round percentages pretty close

In the first round, Jackson and Bellows placed 3rd and 4th respectively, so their votes were reallocated to their voters second choice candidate. Another round of reallocating would have happened if no one got past 50% in the second round.

Shaw was the first choice for more voters. Pingree ended up being the first or second (or third choice, if there were three rounds) for substantially more voters so she won in the final round

They were all in the same ballpark first round, so any of them would be a great candidate. I would be delighted if they nominate Bellows, but whoever is selected will be stronger than Platner against Collins.
