I did get an assortment of Native temporary tattoos at a carnival in the 80s that I now recognize as cultural appropriation. I realize, as an Irish American, eight year old me should have chosen a shamrock or a drunken leprechaun on a forearm at best.

I apologize to my spouse, to my community, the voters who have no idea who I am, and to the cats who are getting fed five minutes later than usual because I had to write this apology.
