It depends on how many people hear it, so if the whole song is broadcast they make more than if only a stadium full hears it.
If they only play a clip of a certain number of seconds they get nothing. Bands make their money touring and merch.
Greenwood is making the dough because MAGA have to have the album to hear at home while they raise the flag in the morning.
I have Lee Greenwood's greatest hits album. It's 45.
