7. They'll have to do this for the next four years

or longer. The demands will get worse and worse. They're in too deep to get out.
One has to wonder why anyone would sign up for this.

Then you realize you're imposing your human feelings on people who don't have them. You can find a few hundred nut jobs in a country this big who wouldn't have made it in a real meritocracy, who will jump at the opportunity when the reasonable people have been weeded out.

We'll watch them squirm but the ones who can't take it and leave (or are expelleld) will just let in crazier ones.
