Rather than "make Canada the 51st state," let's reframe it as "make the Canadian provinces the 51st through 61st states."
I think Canada would prove to be more liberal overall than either Trump or the GOP wants.
Plus, I don't think Canadians are willing to give up universal healthcare and strict gun laws for what we have to offer.

If Canada were to become one state, it would have two senators but more electoral college votes than any other state.
