A lot of those performances are understandably just a shadow of what they were in their prime, but it’s still a pleasant trip down Nostalgia Lane.

But then this guy came out and sang Lightnin’ Strikes and he was electric! I’d missed his introduction so I grabbed my ipad to find out who he was. I have no idea if he sang it in the original key or a bit lower, but he still had “it” at the time that special was filmed.
