$7 million in sales translates into something akin to 700,000 tickets (assuming $10/ticket, which may be low). With 77 million votes cast for Trump, that means fewer than 1 percent of his voters bothered to check out the movie. And it's likely that this past weekend was the high water mark for ticket sales.
