Back in the late 70s/early 80s I lived on Dimetapp because of allergies and asthma that would kick in if my allergies got too severe. I remember the big brown Rx bottle always in the cabinet by the fridge and never minded taking my dose because of the flavor. I love Dr. Pepper, and as far as I can remember, there is a similar flavor. Never thought of it till reading your comment.

They still make that? I haven't heard that since I was a kid. Kinda like Schlitz beer.
