12. Is it really stealing intellectual property?

If I learn how to play the piano by learning Beatles songs and then I go on to create my own music, did I really steal from the Beatles? If I used their music directly, then yes, but if I train myself using their music, is that stealing?

If I watch old movies and create new movies using themes from the old movies, am I stealing?
