be valued. I've met some in such despair over what the AI companies have done that they're nearly suicidal.

Using genAI to amuse yourself is in a way like trampling all over those artists.

It doesn't make you an artist. It can't.

Real artists would like there to be more real artists. They're usually generous with advice, as helpful as possible. They want people to experience real creativity and acquire real skills, not have an AI trained on the world's stolen art spit something out for them.
