at some point you just have to decide it's finished and let it go - otherwise you'll keep fiddling with it until you go crazy or mess it all up. That's been my experience, anyhow. You're off to a good start. Just keep painting and don't worry about making them perfect. Let your instructor help you decide whether it's finished.
