Are you familiar with the movie? It was not made in the 1950’s.

The third top-rated television show in 1973 was Sanford and Son.

Regardless of representation in the media, I’m reasonably certain African Americans existed in the 1950’s, and certainly featured in media in 1973.

Latinos do appear in the film as knife wielding gang members, and Wolfman Jack is rumored to be a negro.
