When Mr. Diamond and I went on our honeymoon, we drove across the country (only time I’ve ever been to California!). We took our time and stopped wherever something struck our fancy.

On the way out, we stopped in Rawlins, Wyoming, where there was a nice little park in the center of town that was the perfect place for us to stop and have some sandwiches for lunch out of our cooler. On the way back to our car, we passed a jewelry store that had the prettiest green earrings in the window - the sign said they were made from Wyoming jade. I just fell in love with them. Well my wonderful hubby bought them for me and I wear them still. It was quite a splurge for us because we didn’t have much money back then. 🙂
