In fact, she cut the tax benefit to Hollywood to such an extent that they were seriously considering pulling out of this state pretty much altogether.

Even now, the tax credit is limited and is giving some productions pause.

So, just in case you do not understand, it's not an investment. It's a tax benefit. Whether or not you like this series, or any series or any movie, is irrelevant.

Several years ago I had a temp job with a company in Santa Fe that does water: bottled water, filtered water, versions of water I don't understand and quite frankly think are dumb, but that's just me. Anyway, what I learned from working from this one small company was how important the film and TV industry is to this state. They provided water to a number of film and TV productions, and I saw some of the numbers and was quite impressed. And this was one small company, providing only one small service to these productions.

So, get back off your high horse. The fact that you don't like this series is unfortunate, but irrelevant. I will say that I haven't bothered to watch it, but there are a lot of shows I don't watch. I suspect that's the same of you.

But before you stop crapping ignorant stuff, please take the time to learn how the film and TV industry works in this state. And understand, quite fundamentally, that the state does NOT make investments. It offers tax credits. There is a difference.
