Then, there is the recognizing factor, as well as the current wave of nostalgia... oh yeah, this is far from a shocker.

Also, the library is owned by someone other than the Beatles. They make that decision. I am betting the current owners are not artists.

Now, I agree with you completely. But, around 50 or so years back the entertainment industry became the entertainment business.

Thanks to that, there is little more than greed in any 'artistic endeavor' these days. So, one can forget any loyalty to the art or the creator.
