6. Years ago, in Montana, there was a judge who handed down that very sentence for a few idiots who left dogs in hot cars

A LEO was assigned to be present outside the car, to make sure the convicted abuser was never in life threatening danger, but also to enforce the sentence.

Suddenly, there were very few instances of dogs in locked, hot cars.
