and the classmates of their children--many who cannot be vaccinated or are too young to be vaccinated.

Most physicians today have never seen measles--much less measles encephalitis or pneumonia. I have. And the screams of their parents upon their child's unfortunate death in the hospital ICU still resonate.

And for those of you who have never heard an infant or toddler with whooping cough (pertussis), take a few minutes... All it takes is for those around them to be vaccinated--including the adults who would be if they kept up with tetanus (Tdap is the vaccine combo now used for tetanus that includes pertussis along with tetanus and diphtheria)... Otherwise this needless (and potentially fatal) suffering should give you pause:
