2. Ditto on the wired is always better, get a powered splitter, like this one I use:

I also use a newer Apple Extreme (tower type opposed to the old flat one I had) It really is the best router I have ever used, signal strength wise. Much better than Linksys and the flat Extreme I had previously.

With the Extreme, I run 3 ATV's, Netflix on 3 TV's, 3 laptops and 3 iPhones.
