I'm using a tablet to cast to a Chromecast plugged into HDMI 1 on the TV with no problem but I bought this 'smart TV' (which turns out to be kinda' stupid) so I could use one remote to watch MSNBC. I also have a stick PC plugged into HDMI port 2 but I hate the tiny keyboard.

Just trying to simplify the whole process. One device instead of three. It's nice to carry one remote to bed and be done with it.

Seems like it's not possible at this point.
