Barack Obama
In reply to the discussion: I'm cracking up here. But I'm honored, too. [View all]Frustratedlady
(16,254 posts)30. I've been nervous all day, but have a good feeling about tonight's speech.
Why? Because I trust Obama and always tend to give him enough space to carry out his duties HIS way.
His mind works differently than most of us and I find it a major process to try to figure him out. The only thing I can come up with is that he is always a ton of steps ahead of the rest of us. Of course, he has different information to work with than we do, so he has the advantage, but he is sharp as hell and does that Obama dance none of us have learned...including our enemies and the Republican party.
Go, Obama! Got your back!

I'm glad we all have a sensible contingent of calm rational supporters of the president.

For some reason all I can think about is that awful thread about Kerry and botox.

Since everything the POTUS does is serious stuff, it's hard to laugh at anything.

A sort of figured he'd parlay this into a win for peace and a win for him.
