doesn't represent his own views, but rather the position of the White House. If he was not part of the administration, it is possible he would express a different point of view.

It is really disappointing that after the horror of the Bush years, Democrats would actually vote for this. It scares me, because clearly once a right is taken away, it is hard to get it back.
