3. Our house has been over 90 before.

This year we looked into whole house AC & decided on a window unit instead. Even that has made a huge difference, especially when we get multiple days in a row over 90 or 100. But, if you can't afford one...

Keep a spritz bottle of cold water to spray yourself with in front of the fan or while lying down. You could also set the fan up behind an ice block sitting in a basin of some type. I saw that in a CSI episode, except the person's basin leaked & the water dripped onto the floor & ran to something electrical & the guy was electrocuted, LOL, so don't do that.

Good luck. We have another week & then some relief.
