Cut into a solid wall, up next to the vaulted ceiling. Since the shell t was already built, there was no way to put in central air. Minimal walls, and we also have 3 ceiling fans. It works pretty well, considering there's no insulation under the metal roof.

This is in hot and humid south central KY, where the heat index is usually triple digits lately.

Have you checked into getting assistance for one installed and on the monthly bill? I think most states have a program.
