John and I did some normal things this week [View all]

John felt well enough to take some pictures of things to put on eBay. Before his diagnosis, we had things on eBay every week for the last several years. (Our hobby) He was feeling well enough that we had both grandkids over and watched them for 4 hours. Up until his diagnosis, we watched both kids several days a week, and stopped when John got the feeding tube and port and weekly chemo. It just felt so darned good. The doctor recently reduced the strength of the chemo by 25%, because of the severe side effects. John will be on chemo until the middle of Oct. and be assessed for the need of radiation the end of Oct. Hoping that we can enjoy more normals as time and treatment goes on. Our grandkids can't wait until Grandpa 'gets his pipes out'
