I started experiencing peripheral neuropathy suddenly last October and shortly thereafter was diagnosed with Cervical Mylopothy. Following spinal decompression surgery, the neuropathy remained and is very bad in my hands. The prescribed Gabapentin and then Pregabalin drug treatments haven't worked very well.

It would be a godsend to find something (legal) that relieves this shit. Lorazapam helps turn down the intensity of the neuropathic pain but my doctors have been reluctant to prescribe enough for more than a bedtime dose.

After seeing your post I did a little more research and decided to give the Alpha Lipoic Acid a try. I'm just starting it now at 800 mg a day and will see if that has any affect on me, if not I will increase it. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
