It might not be as flavorful as it was when fresh, so if you're making hamburgers out of it, don't forget to throw in a little finely chopped onion and a sprinkle of garlic powder to kick the flavor up a bit.

If there's a lot of freezer burn, cut that part off and consider using it in spaghetti sauce instead of making burgers with it.

It's safe. It's not going to be as good as it was fresh.
