3. After Ember was spayed, she did change on behavior.

She retained her spirited personality, but was more inclined to snuggle (still on her terms) and became more trusting of strangers. (Except for the vet and staff, whom she blamed as the cause of her physical discomfort and the indignity of being probed and handled. She has never forgiven them.)

I didn't have to worry about other cats rough housing with her, but I did put away a few of her toys that she tended to get really exuberant with. Only for a few days.
